Idea & development
In October 2019, I decided to write a book, without knowing where the journey would lead. The idea: five musicians return to Earth after thirty years. Okay, that alone doesn’t fill a book. But it didn’t matter—I had never done anything like this before, and I knew next to nothing about literature. Surprisingly, it was easy for me to create the story with all its facets. Maybe that was because I poured a lot of personal experiences into it. By March 2020, the first draft was complete.
In early summer 2020, I started searching for musicians who would help me musically illustrate the story and who were willing to be a part of it. For some reason, my lucky streak continued, and all of my desired candidates agreed to join. However, during the pandemic years, this creative process was almost stifled, and everything stretched out to a concerning length.
Also in early summer 2020, the idea emerged to bring in additional creative minds for photos and videos. The photos were not necessarily meant to illustrate the story, which turned out to be a wise decision. This approach added new and exciting impressions to the project. The implementation of the visuals has been a continuous process, one that has proven to be particularly challenging.
Good things take time, or so I've heard. At least it offers some comfort when that familiar feeling of stagnation arises. After a year and a half of delays, the moment has finally arrived. The book presentation is on the horizon, followed closely by the concert premiere.
Without them, it would just be text pages; with them, it becomes literature.
Christan Aspalter – Proofreading
He, the editor; I, the author. It's a very special relationship that requires appreciation and sensitivity from both sides. Christian managed to transform the work into an easily readable form in a fantastic way, without robbing the story of its original essence. Our deep friendship, which has lasted since our youth, certainly helped him understand my chaotic thoughts and sense of humor. His professional expertise stands in stark contrast to my literary craft, which honestly made me nervous about presenting my manuscript to him. As a good friend, he would surely tell me if it was all unworthy of paper. Thankfully, we are kindred spirits; fortunately, he can write, and I can store a thousand stories in my mind.
Elisabeth Tejral – Illustration
She trained as a graphic designer at the College and Master class for Communication Design in Linz. Her illustrations for the book are a sepa rate work of art. They lend the story a touch of science fiction reminiscent of Perry Rhodan. As the author’s niece, she has definitely inherited some of his DNA. With her sensitive nature, she can read between his lines and translate it into wonderful graphics. As in previous musical projects we’ve worked on together, she brings something special once again this time.
Ramey Rieger – Translation
Sometimes it takes chance, I call it sheer luck. The tip came from a good friend, and after the first email, I knew she is the right one for this job. Reading the first chapter a few days later, my initial reaction was, “Damn, people are going to say the German version can’t compete!” Rock ’n’ Roll comes from America, through her it becomes authentic in this book.”

Rebecca Heier – Copy Editing
She studied Literary Translation at the University of Arkansas and has been living in Germany for several years. As a “ghostbuster” she completes the high-profile team and hunts down the gremlins that the author, one might assume, intentionally embeds in his texts.
Without them, there would only be images in my head; with them, new thought experiments emerge.
Michael Hummel – Analog forever! Photographer
His newest camera is 20 years old, while the oldest has already clocked 50 years. The photo paper is sometimes even older. He’s an absolute fanatic and artist in this field. His images are usually dark, often disturbing, unique, and captivating. The idea of collaborating on an art project together was born during one of our adventure cycling trips. I value him not only as one of my best friends but also as a brutally honest critic, with all the charm of a bull in a china shop.
Patrick Ziebermayr – Professional Photographer
It's no wonder he's a sought-after photographer at festivals like Electric Love and Frequency. He has a natural talent and instinct for perspective, light, and composition. Beyond his professional work, I also admire his calm demeanor and his trustworthiness—his word is as good as a handshake. In short, he's one seriously cool guy.

Pia Haas – Video & Visuals
She is creative, motivated, talented, and has a wonderfully sunny disposition—that’s the short description. But there’s so much more that makes her who she is. She’s like a good spirit, constantly inspiring and searching for those perfect moments worth capturing with the camera. Her task is challenging, as we operate on an "ultra-low budget," which demands even more creativity. Yet, she manages to craft amazing clips out of minimal resources. She’s our charming magician on the photo team.
